When Sparrows Fall - Meg Moseley

"A widow and mother of six, Miranda Hanford leads a quiet, private life.  When the pastor of her close-knit church announces his plans to move the entire congregation to another state, Miranda jumps at the opportunity to dissolve ties with Mason Chandler and his controlling method of ruling his flock.  But then Mason threatens to unearth secrets from her past, and Miranda feels trapped, terrified she'll be unable to protect her children."

Where do I start?  Hmm...let's start this time with the star rating,  5 Stars!!!

From the very beginning, Miranda and her "church" have an intriguing mystery to them.  There are many unanswered questions that beg for answers, and the author does not disappoint us!

When we first learn of Miranda and Jack's relationship, you are left wondering what ever could have happened to this family to get them to the point they are at.  Jack is a college professor with a phd, and Miranda is a homeschooling "closet mom" how seems to be afraid of everything.  When their two worlds collide, it could mean total devastation to those around them...but love steps in and somehow you find yourself rooting for those involved.

Mason and his wife are another mystery.  According to "Pastor Mason", God has told him to move his flock to another state.  Hmm...is it really God's voice he is hearing?  And what secrets does Mason's wife hold?

This book will leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more!  Please be sure to warn your family that you are starting to read this...they may need to cook their own meals and do their own laundry until you get it finished!  :)  Happy Reading!!!

I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group and was not required to post a positive review.
