Let me start out by saying...What a great book for men to read (and women too!).
While it is written with dad's in mind, I loved chapter 2, Effective Fathering. The author describes the different parenting style, or categories, most men fall in to: The Military Dad, The Hypocrite Dad, The Business Partner Dad, The Super Spiritual Dad, and the Real McCoy Dad. Even as a mom, I could place myself in to several of those categories, and they shall remain unmentioned! Yes, I know, sometimes the truth hurts!
While each chapter deals with different topics, each one is completed by a "thoughts and discussion" section. This book would be great for a men's small group study, for a dad's personal devotion time, or even for a husband and wife to work through together!
I give this book 4 stars!
