the mountains bow down - Sibella Giorello

The FBI, a cruise to Alaska, a murder mystery...this seemed like it would be the perfect read for me.  I was not disappointed!

FBI Special Agent Raleigh Harmon, a forensic geologist, sets sale with her mom, her quirky aunt, and her aunt's loony friend.  What appears to start out as a fun vacation, soon turns in to a "working vacation" when a mystery is uncovered on the ship.  Raleigh, who was taking a much needed break from her job and her fiance, soon finds herself and her loved ones entangled in a mess as she investigates a murder with a high profile actor involved.  Things go from uneasy to complicated when Jack shows up from the bureau to help expedite the investigation.  Can Raleigh stay professional while dealing with her families antics, figure out where her and her fiance stand with each other, try to sort out her ever confusing feelings for Jack (whom is just a colleague she keeps telling herself), all while solving the mystery?

I highly recommend this book!  It is a quick read, and I give it 5 stars!

**I received this book free from the publisher through the BookSneeze®.com. I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
